Per The Verge’s Tom Warren, the up-and-coming tiny, little Xbox Nano controller’s got a secret just waiting to drop—it can connect directly to Xbox’s Cloud services without needing to go through the console as an intermediary.

Much like the Google Stadia controller before that tech giant ran from console gaming screaming bloody murder, the Xbox Nano con being able to connect directly to Xbox’s cloud provider will cut down on latency, offering a smoother gameplay experience as a whole. Though it won’t be there at launch, it’ll likely make its way in the coming weeks through Xbox’s preview programmes.
