The Daily Grind: How are you feeling about WoW Forever’s Skyborne race being

Y’know, I was originally going to ask how folks felt about BlizzCon overall this year, but then something funny happened on the way to this piece going to print: Blizzard decided to lock WoW Forever’s Skyborne race behind a paywall. Specifically the race, its starting zone, and several other gubbins based on bundle; the rest of this game is part of the regular WoW sub.

This certainly is a choice. $30 at minimum does seem like it’s pretty darn steep for special combinations that just don’t seem that interesting to me. But on the other hand, I’ve personally spent money on internet spaceships to buzz around in them ahead of time or bought whole outfits in other games for literally one piece of in-game clothing — and would do so again. But where do you stand? How do you feel about the cash elves?
