Remedy has revealed that its third quarter revenue benefited from a 226% surge following the release of Control Resonant in September 2026, with the company posting a total of €39.6 million during the period.
Speaking during the financial results, Remedy boss Jean-Charles Gaudechon stated the result was a “a defining milestone for the company,” with the studio also posting an operating profit of €0.6 million during the same period, up from the €16.4 million loss from the same quarter back in 2025.
For Control Resonant, nearly half of the game’s overall players on PC and consoles were in the US, with Chinese=-speaking regions following in second place and the UK third. Furthermore, nearly half the player base for Control Resonant were actually newcomers to the franchise. “Reaching new players was a key goal for this game, and these early results indicate a growing audience for the franchise and for Remedy,” said the company.
Gaudechon added that Remedy is now looking to “get Resonant into the hands of more players,” noting the sequel has provided a strong foundation for growth while it continues development on other projects, including the remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2.
Control Resonant was released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on September 24, 2026. You can read our full verdict here.
